Dosage ibuprofen syrup in children


Syrup dose ibuprofen to lower the temperature
Syrup dose ibuprofen, in children from 6 to 12 years, to reduce the high temperatures   rely on two factors, namely:
Child weight in kilograms.
Baby's temperature.
It should not be used   in children weighing less than 7 kg.
Ibuprofen should not make it is the first choice to lower the temperature in children, but must  use  paracetamol products (such as syrup or suppository or Abimol Fevadol or tempera or paramol).
The proposed dose of ibuprofen syrup to lower the temperature
In this case the dose of 5 to 10 mg of ibuprofen per 1 kg of weight of the child, every 6 or 8 hours as needed.
Previous dose can be obtained using ibuprofen syrup as follows:
From 6 months to 12 months: 2 ml of ibuprofen syrup 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
From 1 to 2 years: 2.5 ml of ibuprofen syrup 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
From 3 to 7 years: 5 ml of ibuprofen syrup 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
From 8 to 12 years: 10 ml of syrup ibuprofen 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).

Syrup dose ibuprofen to relieve pain in children from 6 months to 12 years
Dose in this case are of ibuprofen 7.5 mg per 1 kg of weight of the child, every 6 or 8 hours as needed.
Previous dose can be obtained using ibuprofen syrup as follows:
From 6 months to 12 months: 3 ml of ibuprofen syrup 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
From 1 to 2 years: 4 ml of ibuprofen syrup 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
From 3 to 7 years: 7 ml of ibuprofen syrup 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
From 8 to 12 years: 12 ml of syrup ibuprofen 3 to 4 times a day (as needed).
Notes on the dose ibuprofen
Can reach dose ibuprofen syrup in severe cases to 40 mg per kg of body weight.
